Article Reprints
As a branded extension of your organisation's web site, Charlesworth's web to print facility C-Print+ can be used to provide an online solution for the provision of article reprints.Through your own unique interface buyers can directly order reprints of articles through this simple to use, secure system.
By fully outsourcing the provision of article reprints, publishers can make significant cost savings and free up resources. Charlesworth undertakes all the related administration and production allowing publishers to concentrate on more strategic issues. Regular reporting on online activity such as order volume and revenue will provide useful management information.
How it works
Buyers can search for articles held in the database by using terms such as author name, article title or key words in the defined abstract.
This abstract of the article can be viewed prior to purchase but not the full article.
Articles can be purchased through an ecommerce 'shopping basket' system which calculates the price of the order plus delivery costs for the chosen location and service.
Charlesworth takes the payment, processes and produces the order then despatches to the buyer. The system allows the buyer to track the order online.
Repeat Journal & Book Ordering
C-Print+ can also offer publishers an online ordering service for reprints of journals and books, streamlining production, reducing administration and subsequently the related costs.
How it works
Only authorised users from the publisher's production team can log in to the password protected system to order reprints of past print
runs either from files held by Charlesworth or new files which can be uploaded via the system.
Each publisher has their own branded interface which records orders placed and provides a job tracking facility which is updated at each stage of the production process and sends email alerts at production milestones, giving maximum transparency for your work. Ultimately, the functionality can be tailored to each publisher's requirements.
Reporting on usage and other statistics is provided from the system at regular agreed intervals.
