The recent installation of a new fully automated mailing line is the final piece in the jigsaw for Charlesworth Press' wider print on demand plans.
Everything is now in place enabling Charlesworth Press to provide publishers with a flexible short run print on demand service that has so far been missing from the market.
Our innovative solution combines the latest in print and finishing technology with the software needed to provide a simple, transparent online ordering system for short run publications, yet with a choice of book sizes, papers, binding and finishes.
We recognised that there was a gap in the market for a more flexible print on demand model and wanted to offer clients greater choice in the specification of their on demand publications. We have achieved this through investing in software development, several additional web and sheet fed digital presses, finishing equipment and finally a new mailing line increasing capacity in our despatch area.

Charlesworth Press' automated service can be used to order and manage print on demand for journals, books, author reprints and more, allowing clients to benefit from the fastest and most cost effective production for their publication needs, without compromising on quality or choice.
Each client has their own branded web interface which records orders placed and provides a job tracking facility which is updated at each stage of the production process sending email alerts at production milestones right through to mailing or bulk delivery. Uniquely, users can log in and check where a job is in the process at any time, giving absolute transparency.
